Kraut is an alter-ego of renowned Amsterdam producer Daniel Zuur. He has been a household name on the German and Dutch electronic music scene since 2009 having played iconic clubs and festivals such as Katerblau (Berlin) Sisyphos (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam) and Baum (Bogota, Colombia). With Kraut he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion.

The Ya Lur EP is about longing to the elements of life you most love. On this EP Kraut is combining different cultural elements from the jungle of Afrika to the deserts of the Middle East.

For the title track Ya Lur, he worked together with Amsterdam based singer, Wasim Arslan. When living his life in Aleppo, Wasim was singing this traditional Syrian song to his niece. Now he’s spreading the words of love, together with Kraut, to the rest of the world.
